The County Officials who are
doing an outstanding job
The numbers in the Tale of Two Counties presentation
showed that there is plenty of waste and incompetence in a few of our
county departments.
The presentation also showed that many of our other county departments are
run very efficiently by competent people. In our presentation, the
comparisons with other counties showed that our County Clerk, Roy Crawford,
our Election Commission run by Becky Harrill, our County Trustee,
Scott Graves, our Registrar of Deeds, Penny Whaley, our Director of County
Buildings, Damon Fortney and our IT Manager, John Herron are each doing a
particularly good job for the taxpayers.
Next time you meet one of these leaders, or a member of their staff, let them
know that you appreciate the fine job they are doing.
